Gemini Menu Bar App
The application resides in the macOS menu bar, providing quick access to Gemini via an icon or a global shortcut. The window can be "pinned" to remain visible while working in other applications.

Is this an official Google product?
No. Gemlet is an independent productivity client developed by Latrova Tech. It is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Google LLC.
Do I need an API Key to use it?
No. Gemlet operates on a "Bring Your Own Account" model via a specialized webview. You do not need to generate technical API keys; you simply log in with your Google Account as you would in a browser.
Is my chat data private?
Yes. Gemlet functions essentially as a specialized browser. Your chat data, login credentials, and AI interactions flow directly between your device and Google's servers. We do not collect, store, or have access to your chat history.
Is Gemlet a subscription service?
No. Gemlet is sold as a "Lifetime License." You pay a one-time fee to own the software version, avoiding monthly recurring costs for the application itself.
Does the purchase include access to Gemini Pro/Ultra plans?
No. The purchase of a Gemlet license covers the macOS software interface only. It does not include a subscription to Gemini or any paid Google service. You will access the Free or Paid version of Gemini based solely on the status of your personal Google account.
How many Macs can I use my license on?
Each license allows you to activate and use Gemlet on up to 2 Macs simultaneously.
What happens if Google changes their website layout?
Since Gemlet relies on the public web interface of Gemini, changes by Google (DOM updates) may temporarily disrupt specific features like shortcuts. We commit to making reasonable efforts to update the software to restore functionality when these changes occur.
