Gemini Menu Bar App
The application resides in the macOS menu bar, providing quick access to Gemini via an icon or a global shortcut. The window can be "pinned" to remain visible while working in other applications.
Command Palette
A centralized search interface (accessible via shortcut) that allows you to execute system actions, navigate features, switch between different "Gems," and enter Slash Commands quickly.
Gems Integration
The app automatically syncs your "Gems" (customized versions of Gemini) from your web account. You can assign numeric keyboard shortcuts (0-9) to instantly open your favorite Gems.
Slash Commands
Allows you to create and manage custom text commands (starting with /) that function as snippets. Typing a command automatically inserts a predefined prompt into the chat, streamlining repetitive tasks.
Gemini Split Panels
Multitasking support with multiple side-by-side navigation panels. This allows you to keep several chat sessions or different Gems open simultaneously in the same window, featuring resizable dividers.
Export to PDF
Dedicated functionality to export chat history to PDF files. The feature includes options to customize the document style before exporting.
Gemini Workspaces
A state management system to save and switch between different workflow environments. Workspaces store your specific configurations of Split Panels, pinned Gems, and bookmarks for instant context switching.
Shortcuts Management
A dedicated screen to view and manage all application keyboard shortcuts, covering everything from basic navigation and window control to quick switching of models and Gems.
Screenshot Manager
An integrated tool to take screenshots directly from the application interface or chats, facilitating information sharing.
